9/13 : LJ " You gotta walk the talk"

Ezekiel 33:31 NIV

My people come to you, as they usually do, and sit before you to hear your words, but they do not put them into practice. Their mouths speak of love, but their hearts are greedy for unjust gain.


O:
Many can hear but few actually do. Many can speak but few can do.
The people of God were not wholeheartedly faithful and honest before God. God knew. He sees the inside and out but is never fooled by their outside appearance. He looks at the heart.

A:
WHat do I hear and not practice?
What Do I speak but not feel.
Its easy to take bits and pieces and hold back the rest. And what causes me to hold back? The fear of man, pride, the focus of what happens to me than what is glorifying to God. I need to stand up and rdefine within myself what areas I need to set back into place the standards of a Christian.


P: Father,

If myvheart has become prideful before you and deaf to Your words would you humble me and bring me back to life in Jesus again. Lord if I have conpromised and chosen what I want over what You want I lay down my rights once again and bring all of me before You. Father be exalted in my life. Be blessed and use me no matter what it takes. Toughen me up that I do not become lazy or complainjng towards you toughen me up God with your strength and power. Lord I pray that my life would count in eternity. Father lead me...I rely soley upon you tonight. May Your spirit work Lord. Help me to persevere and be patient before you through Build and even through church and ministry and marriage. Lord speak through me O God. Empower me for your work tonight. In Jesus name amen.
