Obadiah 1:

Thus says the Lord GOD concerning Edom: We have heard a report from the LORD,
and a messenger has been sent among the nations:
"Rise up! Let us rise against her for battle!" 2Behold, I will make you small among the nations;
you shall be utterly despised.[a]
3 The pride of your heart has deceived you,
you who live in the clefts of the rock,[b]
in your lofty dwelling,
who say in your heart,
"Who will bring me down to the ground?"
4Though you soar aloft like the eagle,
though your nest is set among the stars,
from there I will bring you down,

declares the LORD.


O: prideful man looks down upon people and things and cannot see anything above himself. Pride is the root of sin and needs to be removed and replced eith humility before God replaces it.

A:
Ever sinv C.S Lewis readings I feel as if God is pruning in me to reveal my pride as well. Im taking a lesson a t a time to see how things are going and how I react. Its not easy but I know I need to choose humility or else I will be humbled by God.

P:
Lord help me to do away with my pride. Father lead me to choose humility..to choose Jesus over myself. Help me to die to the Cross daily and let you live. I pray God that things that bother me discourage me would not be bc of my personal pride but bcof your righteousness thst you desire in me and others. Lord make yohr presencr and glory known to me O God.in Jesus name I pRay amen.
