10/14 LJ: Follow/ hang out and participate

Psalm 1:1-2 NLT

Oh, the joys of those who do not
follow the advice of the wicked,
or stand around with sinners,
or join in with mockers. But they delight in the law of the LORD,
meditating on it day and night.

O:
There are three bad actions that is mentioned. Follow, stand in, and join. Depending on which area you apply this, it can be a bad or good situation. For example to follow the advice of the wicked. Not good. If you flip these words and replace it with God, it makes a whole lot more sense.

Oh the joys of those who do follow the advice of The Holy Spirit or hang out/ stand in with Gods people or join in with the Christian warriors... its a simple command of follow jesus fellowship with others and join in on what's going on..to me it speaks Gods story. And of course continue to meditate on it day and night. Chew on that word.

A: meditating on Gods word is an awesome experience.
To follow fellowship and participate as a result of that is life changing. I can always work on listening to God more and following through with what He says. One evaluation I probably should check out is am I listening to other voices as well. Am I participating in things I should not. Tidy up the social area and see how much clearer God becomes.

P:

Father, please show me where I need to tidy up. Teach me how to respond to un christian like talk and behaviors thst can influencr me. Reveal to me tge wickedness you hate in me so I may repent before you. Lord I want to love your word Jesus. Help me to fall in love with your word more and more. Draw me into your truth God. I ask for your wisdom as I prepare for Tuesdays small group. Lord impart on me the mind and understanding of Christ. I need you Jesus. In Jesus name amen.
